Detroit News has revealed its nominations for the 2023 All-East High School Football Team, comprising the best players from east Michigan. These skilled, dedicated, and visionary persons are among the best performers within their area of jurisdiction.

First Team Offense

  • Quarterback: CJ Carr, Saline (Sr.)

  • Running Back: Kayden Forbes, Holland Jr.—West Ottawa.

  • Wide Receiver: Jakob Price, Muskegon (Sr.)

  • Wide Receiver: AJ Hill, Davison (Jr.)

  • Tight End: Kevin Simes, Belleville (Sr.)

  • Offensive Lineman: Cam Kruisenga, Rockford (Sr.)

  • Offensive Lineman: Caid Fox, Saline (Sr.)

  • Offensive Lineman: Brody Kosin, Clarkston (Sr.)

  • Offensive Lineman: Elisha Durham, West Bloomfield (Jr.)

  • Offensive Lineman: Kyler Brunan, Traverse City – West.

First Team Defense

  • Defensive Lineman: Ethan Kraatz, Saginaw Heritage (Jr.)

  • Defensive Lineman: Miguel Botello, Muskegon (Sr.)

  • Linebacker: Joseph Celaj, Romeo (So.)

  • Linebacker: Grant Heatherton, Brighton (Sr.)

  • Defensive Back: Jaden Mangham, Muskegon (Sr.)
