Ho-ho-holy Moly! Unveiling Santa's Best Bets for the NFL Christmas Day Tripleheader

The aroma of gingerbread fills the air, stockings hang by the fireplace, and presents wait patiently under the tree – it can only mean one thing: Christmas is almost here! For NFL fans, December 25 brings more carols and cranberry sauce. Warning: extra-large helping of holiday cheer ahead This Christmas, Santa’s bringing a tripleheader lineup of football and all the potential upsets, thrills and spills you can strictly splurge with. OK, so have that eggnog ready and get your ugliest sweater out. It's Yuletide betting time here at Bet Labs as we examine Santa’s three best bet picks for today ’ s Christmas Day slug-fest between the Steelers and Patriots extravaganza!

Game 1: Las Vegas Raiders (8.5-point underdogs) at Kansas City Chiefs

Let's get things going back in the heartland, where red-hot Chiefs (11-3) tackle playoff hopeful Raiders (6-8), fighting for control of AFC West. This season, tops on offense Patrick Mahomes and the flamethrowing attack have burned defenses for more than 30 points per game. However, over the last few weeks Derek Carr and Davante Adams have hit their stride. The Raiders are now a scary underdog. Santa wants to see the Chiefs cover at home, but Vegas can score enough in a festive shootout that he wouldn’t be shocked if they kept it close.

Santa’s Pick: Chiefs -8.5 (but watch the over!)

Game 2: Philadelphia Eagles (7-point favorites) vs. New York Giants

Then on to the City of Brotherly Love where soaring Eagles (12-2) meet surprising Giants (8-6). Philly has a dynamic duo in Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown; New York's Saquon Barkley is back to his MVP form! This one looks like it will be a punch-up. Both defenses have their teeth bared and poised to pounce. Late in the game, Santa sees Eagles building a lead but counsels bettors against underestimating Giants’ fighting spirit.

Santa’s Pick: Eagles -7 (Don't rule New York out for a cover either).

Game 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-point favorites) vs. Arizona Cardinals

Lastly, we drive into the desert for a night battle under Arizona stars. Boasting a 7-7 record in Tampa, the battle-hardened Bucs and the always valiant Christmas warrior Tom Brady will aim to seal their playoff berth against the uneven Cardinals (4-10). Kyler Murray is a wild card under center, while DeAndre Hopkins' return adds intrigue to the Cardinals 'offense. Santa thinks Brady and Tampa Bay ’ s airtight defense will pull out the win, but wouldn't be surprised if Arizona makes some noise in what could prove to be anything resembling an Iowa hold ' em kind of game.

Santa’s Pick: Buccaneers -8 But don't hesitate to rule out a high-scoring affair.

But remember, these are only the picks of Santa; neither more nor less. However, some holiday cheer paired with insightful analysis will take you through the Christmas Day tripleheader like a pro. So, put your lucky charm on and raise a glass to the team of which you're proudest. Then get ready for some heart-stopping gridiron action! Merry Christmas, and happy betting!
