Maryland football coach says three star players killed in crash had a "bond and a friendship"

A high school football coach, and a Maryland community, are mourning three star football players killed in a drive-off accident early Saturday.

Three months ago Minnesota Vikings, the National Football League took Khyree Jackson as part of the team’s new crop. Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr are two other siblings who demonstrated their talent in football; Isaiah played for the college football teams in Maryland and Charlotte while Anthony played for Florida State and Penn State.

They were all students and players at Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland at the time the events in the trial took place.

‘They had a very special bond’, said Wise high school’s coach DaLawn Parrish to WJZ. Football was just an added imaginery. It was more of a relationship and companionship. We will not forget who they were.

The three were was driving along in a Dodge Charger at around 3 in the morning on Saturday when they was hit by another car and ext Helps to.

Maryland State Police who were driving west said Clingman, 23, was driving in the east lane when she rammed into their car and caused them to ram into several trees. Some of the factors that were mentioned are thought to include alcohol, the troopers say.

Democratic Maryland Governor Wes Moore responded to the crash this week.

‘Maryland is heartbroken over the loss of @real_khyree this morning,’ Moore posted on micro blogging site X, formerly twitter. “Khyree was a real talent; he was an NFL draft pick, a graduate of the Wise High School, and he impacted so many people,” we lost him and two other people in this crash.

WJZ and former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith also took to social media to give a statement.

The NFL described the dead, Jackson, as their, “…heart and soul” and expressed deep sorrow and devastation that the Vikings rookie is no more.

This crash is still under investigation and Clingman has various charges pending on him.
